Meatball Ingredients
1 pound 93% lean ground turkey
3/4 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic
1/2 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
Sauce Ingredients
15 oz can tomato sauce
28 oz can tomato puree
1 tablespoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon garlic
Preparation
In slow cooker, combine sauce ingredients.
In a bowl, mix the meatball ingredients together and form into teaspoon-size balls. Carefully drop into sauce. Cook on low for 6 hours.
